New ReviewerRetailer discounted a new couch.
Well the retailer, Hudson Furniture stepped up and reimbursed me for having the couch redyed properly. Doesn't say much for Flexsteel.
I purchased another couch but not a Flexsteel from them. Buyer beware on this brand.
Purchased a flexsteel-industries-latitudes-collection double recliner sofa and recliner chair from Hudson Furniture in Clearwater, Fl in August of 2014 with and extended warranty. Three years later we noticed the dye was coming off the footrest.
Called a warranty company and they sent a technician out to review. Just got a text mail saying that sorry, Flexsteel's warranty only covers leather for one year. Now wait a minute. You can produce faulty dye and tanning which doesn't show up until a few years later and too bad?
Scam. Never will purchase a Flexsteel again.
Hidden defect doesn't show up until later, but Flexsteel laughed all the way to the bank? Don't ever, ever buy a Flexsteel product!
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $2200.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

What's shown in your picture is not dye coming off. Its body oils on top of the leather..
You need to use a cleaner/degreaser to clean it.. Leather has to be cleaned a few times a year to remove body oils or they will build up just as in your picture.
Flexsteel latitudes collection, 4400$, couch broke where automatic push button recliner motor chewed and splintered wood on frame , causing it to break down in the middle... grand baby eating splinters off floor that we couldnโt figure where they came from....recliner has no.
Padding in left arm ... flat ... and back sags... customer service doesnโt care...
they were prime furniture in their day but now made in China ! JUNK- avoid
